Who this policy covers
Klientr at klientr.com is a customer workspace for conversations, contacts, tasks, bookings, a help center, and payments. This policy explains what we collect when you visit the site, create a workspace, or use the product.
Klientr is built by byteg.pro. For privacy requests, email [email protected].
Information we collect
Account and workspace details:
- Your name, email, a hashed password, profile photo, and username.
- Workspace name, plan, and billing status.
- If you sign in with Google or X, the identifier and basic profile those services share with us.
Content you put in a workspace
When a team uses Klientr, we store the content needed to run that workspace:
- Contacts and channel identities, including name, email, phone, tags, and custom fields.
- Conversations, messages, internal notes, and files.
- Tasks, appointments, services, and PayPal or Stripe payment records created in a thread.
- Help center articles, macros, bot answers, feedback, and team chat.
- Widget visits: a visitor token, the page address, and an approximate location derived from IP address.
Technical data
We also process a smaller set of technical data so the product can sign you in and stay reliable:
- A session cookie, the project you last opened, and a cookie that remembers your cookie choice.
- A remember-me cookie, if you ask to stay signed in.
- IP address, browser type, and similar logs.
- If you enable push notifications, the browser subscription required to deliver them.
- If you click Agree on the cookie notice, Google Analytics measurements of how the site is used.
How we use it
We use this information to provide the workspace: deliver messages, assign conversations, book appointments, take PayPal or Stripe payments you start, and send notifications you turn on.
We keep an audit history on records such as contacts, tasks, appointments, articles, and services so a team can see what changed.
When someone on a workspace uses Copilot, the open conversation and published help content are sent to an OpenAI-compatible API to draft, summarize, or translate. Copilot is instructed not to invent facts. A person still decides what to send.
We read messages you send to [email protected]. We do not sell personal information.
Customer data
If you run a workspace, you decide what to collect from your customers and you are responsible for telling them. Klientr processes that content to provide the product to your team.
We do not use your customers' messages to advertise to them, and we do not sell workspace content.
Who we share it with
We share information with services that are required to run Klientr:
- Hosting, and file storage for attachments (Hetzner object storage in production).
- Email delivery for product mail such as password resets and conversation replies.
- Channel providers you connect, such as Telegram, WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, and your email.
- PayPal or Stripe, when a workspace creates or collects a payment.
- Google or X, when someone chooses that sign-in method.
- Google Analytics, only after cookie consent.
- An AI provider, when someone on the workspace uses Copilot.
- Teammates you invite, limited to what their role allows.
- Visitors of a help center, for articles you publish.
How long we keep it
We keep workspace content while the account is open. Deleting a record removes it from the product. Logs and backups are kept for a limited time so we can secure and restore the service.
Email [email protected] from the workspace owner address to ask us to close an account and delete the workspace.
Your choices
- Ask to access, correct, or delete your account by emailing [email protected].
- Use the product and the API to read data your role can see.
- Skip analytics cookies. Essential cookies are still used when you sign in.
- Disconnect a channel, remove a teammate, or turn off push notifications in the app.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or a similar region, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Klientr is a business tool. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Klientr after that date, the revised policy applies.
