Klientr vs Crisp

Crisp is a hosted chat workspace: a shared inbox, and on paid plans a help center, triggers, and Hugo, its AI. Klientr is a hosted inbox too, with Telegram on the free plan and a booking or a payment on the conversation. Crisp keeps email and several messaging apps on paid workspace plans.

Two hosted inboxes

Both products can start without a per-agent meter. Klientr Starter is free for two people and already includes Telegram, website chat, and email. That matters when customers write on Telegram before they write email.

Crisp is built around the website conversation and the tools beside it. Messaging apps are part of the product, and Crisp sells the wider set on higher workspace plans. The free plan is the widget and the shared inbox.

The inbox, or the visit that follows

A Klientr conversation can become an appointment. Services, providers, duration, and price live on the project calendar. A PayPal or Stripe charge can be sent in the thread, and paid, pending, canceled, or failed stays on that customer.

Crisp spends that product surface on triggers, a help center, and Hugo. If the next step is an automated path inside the widget, Crisp is built for it. If the next step is a booking, Klientr is.

What neither description should hide

Klientr has no campaign builder and no co-browsing. Crisp is the better product when the widget, the bot, and the help center are the whole job.

Crisp is not the product to pick for a separate queue of public brand mentions. Klientr puts Facebook, X, Threads, and Instagram mentions on their own page, on Team and above.

Choose Klientr if

Telegram is a real channel on day one, and the chat should end in a booking or a payment.

Choose Crisp if

You want a workspace price that grows into triggers, a help center, and Hugo, and you can wait for messaging apps until a paid plan.
