Klientr vs Freshdesk
Freshdesk is a ticket help desk. Email, chat, and phone can live in the Freshworks suite, and the usual meter is a price per agent. Klientr is a conversation inbox for a smaller team. The reply, a task, a booking, and a PayPal or Stripe charge stay on the same thread.
| Topic | Klientr | Freshdesk |
|---|---|---|
| Best fit | A small team that lives in the conversation | A support team that wants tickets, SLAs, and room to add agents |
| Shape | One open conversation per contact and channel | Tickets, with automations and a help desk workflow |
| Channels | Website chat, Telegram, and email to start. WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram on Team | Email and chat, with more channels and phone through the Freshworks suite |
| Price | Free for two people. Team is $39 a month for the workspace | A price per agent. AI help is often an add-on |
| After the reply | Tasks, a calendar booking, and an in-thread payment | Ticket reports, a knowledge base, and the rest of the Freshworks suite |
| AI | Copilot drafts inside a monthly allowance | Freddy, commonly sold beside the seat |
Tickets are a choice, not a default
Klientr assumes the customer has one open thread per channel. A Telegram message joins the open Telegram conversation. The team assigns it, snoozes it, or closes it. A private note never goes to the customer.
Freshdesk assumes a request becomes a ticket. That is the right shape when you need statuses, collision rules, and an SLA across a queue of agents. It is a heavier start when two people share one inbox.
Seats, or a workspace
Klientr Team is $39 a month, or $32 a month billed yearly, for up to eight teammates and three projects. Starter is free for two. You are not billed again because a ninth conversation arrived.
Freshdesk grows by the agent. That can be the cheaper serious help desk once you have many agents and you want classic ticketing. It is a different bill from a workspace price that already includes the inbox, bookings, and payments.
Where Freshdesk is the better fit
Pick Freshdesk when the team already thinks in tickets, when phone is part of support, or when you want Freddy and the Freshworks products around the desk.
Pick Klientr when the customer writes on the site or on Telegram, and the useful next step is a booking or a charge rather than a ticket number.
Choose Klientr if
The team is small, Telegram matters, and the conversation should hold the booking and the payment.
Choose Freshdesk if
You want a per-agent ticket desk, phone, and a help desk that can grow into a larger support operation.
